I am married to my wonderful and incredibly supportive husband, Musha, who has been my partner for the last 19 years. We share a 5-year-old daughter and a 16-year-old niece (who has graduated and is in art school for her craft), whom we consider our own. I also am the eldest of 9 children between my two parents but the shortest! In my spare time, I enjoy catching up with family and friends with house visits or enjoying the trails, museums, parks, or botanical gardens with them, hosting out-of-town guests, ASMR, tea blends, and working on my DIY projects, which I refer to as "heavy" crafting. Three of my siblings and I have a genetic speech impediment, but that hasn’t stopped us from carving out meaningful careers as a flight attendant, a medical doctor, and, in my case, a business school professor! My experiences, both personally and professionally, heavily shape the research questions I explore, and I enjoy always learning something new from folks that I already know and new ones that I meet!
